"Cardboard"

Lighting Designer
Director: Emily Barnett
Lighting designed post-modern scene where director was given prompt "Box". The director's concept involved exploring every meaning of the word from cardboard to being being put in a box. I used a lot of down light and back light to create isolation and get hard shutter edges while not lighting the actors faces to literally put them in a box of light while highlighting the metaphorical moments when they are being put in a box.
