As the Scenic Charge Artist for Little Women, I was in charge of leading Baylor Theaters paint crew for the run of the show. I created paint samples for every part of the design from the model provided by the scenic designer and made adjustments requested after he saw the paint treatment in full scale. I created a paint schedule for all the items in the show and maintained a daily to-do list. I maintained a paint inventory through the run of the show. And I taught and led a crew of less experienced painters throughout the build process of the show.

Cobalt Studios Summer Scene Painting

At the 3 week Cobalt Studios Summer Scene Painting Immersive course. I got a condescend version of Racheal Keebler's scene painting training. I received training in various techniques with projects focusing on Trompe-l'œil dimensional painting.

A Waco Community Theater's production of James and the Giant Peach. With this particular production the Scenic Designer was also acting as producing director requiring me to step in and oversee implementation of the design throughout the process. I was acting as the sole Scenic and Props Artist until we got a small crew of 4 volunteers. Once we got our volunteers I took on the the role of leading them in our paint and props crew

As the Assistant Scenic Designer, I was in consultation with the designer and director throughout design process to help research understand and create the design. I also took samples of the Designer's color elevations and early preliminary drawings and implemented them in the model and set construction. Along with designing multiple pieces to match the style of the set design, such as Pirelli's Wagon and the color and texture of the central rolling platform. Once we entered the build process I took on the roll of Assistant Scenic Artist leading our Art and Paint Crews.
